The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to provide the result you requested, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for operating, securing and improving the quiz.

We use PostHog Cloud EU for server-side product analytics. PostHog Cloud EU is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.

We currently do not load the PostHog browser SDK and do not use PostHog session replay, heatmaps or browser cookies on this website. Analytics events are sent from our server using pseudonymous identifiers.

Events may include quiz start, quiz completion, lead submission, result-page view, affiliate-link click and purchase completion, together with campaign parameters, quiz pattern, campaign angle and an indication of whether a Taboola click identifier was available. We do not send your name or email address to PostHog.

8. Google Analytics 4

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Our measurement ID is G-RSCCW8E062.

Google Analytics helps us understand visits, traffic sources, page usage and selected funnel interactions such as article calls to action. The Google tag is not loaded unless you allow analytics in the privacy settings. We do not send names, email addresses or quiz answers to Google Analytics.

Google Consent Mode v2 is initialized with analytics and advertising storage denied. If you grant analytics consent, analytics storage is enabled and the Google tag may store or read analytics identifiers. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain denied unless you separately allow marketing measurement.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where device storage or access is involved, Section 25 (1) TDDDG. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Privacy settings” link in the footer.

9. Pinterest business account and API

We operate a Pinterest business account and use the Pinterest API to publish and schedule our own Pins and to evaluate the performance of our own Pinterest content. For users in the European Economic Area, Pinterest services are generally provided by Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.

The API access is limited to the Relationship Signal account authorized by its owner. Depending on the requested report, we may process account, Pin and board identifiers, Pin and board content, publishing information and aggregated performance data such as impressions, saves, outbound clicks and other interactions. We use this information to plan our own content, measure its performance and improve our organic Pinterest publishing.

We do not use the Pinterest API to access unrelated user accounts, identify individual website visitors, build user profiles or sell Pinterest data. API credentials are kept confidential, and data obtained through the API is not shared with third parties except where necessary to operate the integration or comply with law.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are publishing our content efficiently and measuring and improving its performance. 10. Meta Pixel and Conversions API

We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of advertisements shown on Facebook and Instagram and to attribute leads and purchases to those advertisements. The provider for users in the European Economic Area is generally Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.

The browser-based Meta Pixel may process the page visited, the referring advertisement, device and browser information, IP address and the Meta browser and click identifiers stored in the cookies _fbp and _fbc.

For leads and purchases, we may also send server-side conversion events to Meta. Depending on availability, these events may include a hashed email address, a hashed pseudonymous lead identifier, the Meta browser and click identifiers, IP address, browser user agent, event time, event source URL and, for purchases, value, currency and an order or event identifier. We do not send your quiz answers, relationship pattern or other relationship details to Meta.

Browser and server events may use the same event ID so Meta can recognize and deduplicate the same conversion. Meta may use the information under its own responsibility for measurement, attribution, reporting, security and advertising purposes.

The browser-based Meta Pixel is loaded only after you allow marketing measurement. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where device storage or access is involved, Section 25 (1) TDDDG. You may withdraw consent through the “Privacy settings” link in the footer.

11. Taboola server-to-server attribution

If you arrive through a Taboola advertisement, Taboola may append a click identifier named tblci to the landing-page URL. We store this identifier with your lead record and use it to report leads and purchases to Taboola through server-to-server conversion tracking.

The data sent to Taboola is limited to the click identifier, the conversion event name and, for purchases, transaction-related attribution values such as an order identifier and commission value where applicable.

We currently do not install the Taboola browser pixel on this website and do not set Taboola advertising cookies ourselves.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are measuring advertising performance, preventing incorrect attribution and optimizing advertising expenditure. You may object to this processing for reasons arising from your particular situation.

Taboola privacy information

12. Affiliate links and ClickBank

This website contains affiliate links to third-party offers. When you click a link to the promoted offer, you are redirected through ClickBank, a service operated by Click Sales Inc., 1444 S. Entertainment Ave., Suite 410, Boise, ID 83709, United States.

The redirect may include a pseudonymous lead identifier, source information, campaign data, quiz pattern, campaign angle and, where applicable, the Taboola click identifier. ClickBank may use this data to attribute a later purchase and process affiliate commissions.

If you purchase a product, ClickBank acts as the retailer or payment processor for the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank details. We may receive a server-side purchase notification containing a pseudonymous contact identifier, receipt information, purchase status and affiliate earnings.

The legal basis for affiliate attribution is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating and measuring our affiliate-funded business model.

ClickBank privacy information

13. Cookies and similar technologies

We store your privacy selection in your browser's local storage. This is necessary to remember the choice and does not require optional consent. Google Analytics identifiers are used only after analytics consent. Advertising identifiers are used only after marketing consent.

After marketing consent, Meta may set or read cookies and similar identifiers including _fbp and _fbc for advertising measurement and attribution.

You can reopen the consent panel through “Privacy settings” in the footer and change or withdraw optional consent.

After you follow an external affiliate link, the destination website, ClickBank or the product provider may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies. We do not control those external websites.

14. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data may be disclosed to service providers involved in hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising attribution and affiliate tracking. These recipients process data either on our instructions or under their own legal responsibilities.

Some recipients are located outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism under Articles 44 through 49 GDPR.

15. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law.

  • Quiz, analytics and attribution data is retained only for the period reasonably required to evaluate and improve the funnel, resolve technical issues and meet legal obligations.
  • Purchase and accounting-related information may be retained for statutory commercial and tax retention periods.

16. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and withdraw consent at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, contact contact@relationship-signal.com.

17. No solely automated decisions

We do not use the quiz result to make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you. The result is general educational content generated from your selected quiz answers.

We may update this policy when our website, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page together with the date of the latest update.
